Adjacent Waters
Johns Lake.
Adjacent — not part of the Clermont Chain.
~2,439 acres on the Lake / Orange County border, ~5 miles southeast of Clermont. Separate Lake Apopka sub-watershed; outflow canal runs north to Apopka. Not navigable to the Clermont Chain — included here because it’s the most-asked-about waterfront in the buyer search corridor.
A quick note on watersheds: the Clermont Chain (above) sits in the Palatlakaha River system; Johns Lake sits in the Lake Apopka sub-watershed. Both are part of the broader Ocklawaha River basin, but the two lakes are not connected for boat navigation. Treat them as adjacent corridors, not one chain.

The Lake Minneola Record-Setter
I set the Lake Minneola all-time sale record at $1.8 million in February 2025.
I am Chase Checho, Broker / Owner of Chase Aaron Real Estate. I represent buyers and sellers on the Clermont Chain of Lakes the same way I represent them on Butler Chain in Windermere or in Bella Collina: with verified MLS data, candid pricing analysis, and direct one-on-one work from list to close.
The chain is my home market. My father, Robert C. Checho, has held Florida Certified Building Contractor License #CBC040782 since March 16, 1987 — thirty-eight years of continuous Lake County lineage. He built across four entities, from Baybrook Homes to Ebbtide Construction & Development (which built Magnolia Terrace and Arrowtree Reserve in the early-to-mid 2000s) and today runs Aaron Construction & Development, LLC — whose most recent custom build, in Wolfhead Ridge, was completed May 5, 2026. I grew up on those job sites. I know which docks face the prevailing wind, which lots flood when Minneola rises, which subdivisions sit on the actual chain versus a tributary, and which improvements appraisers credit and which they don’t.
If you are buying or selling chain-of-lakes waterfront over $1M, you deserve a broker who has actually closed at that price point on the chain. Florida BK3447990.

Drone aerials across the 13-lake chain. The thirty seconds that explain why the chain reads differently than every other Orlando submarket.
